As the leading housing services agency in Sacramento, Sacramento Self-Help Housing partners with various organization to provide housing expertise to those in need of affordable, sustainable, and safe housing.
Last month SSHH homeless outreach staff rehoused 49 individuals and expanded their caseload to a total of 1459 individuals and families in need of housing.
SSHH also provides low barrier housing counseling at Friendship Park, Loaves and Fishes.
Through funding from Sacramento County and surrounding cities, SSHH provides homeless Navigation services in Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, North Sacramento, and South Sacramento. SSHH also provides free help with tenant-landlord and fair housing issues. Last month our Renter's Helpline assisted 625 Sacramento residents to maintain housing.
